At Beachway, we employ a holistic approach to treatment, addressing the mind, body, and spirit through therapies like nutritional counseling and mindfulness. This method targets the root causes of anxiety and mental illness, promoting lasting recovery and preparing patients for sustained mental well-being.
After completing our mental health programs, patients can transition to aftercare options that bridge inpatient treatment and daily life. These include supportive community living, group therapy, assistance with employment or education, and more. Our aftercare programs aim to help patients manage triggers and reintegrate into society with renewed purpose.

Many individuals who suffer also describe simply not being able to turn off their thoughts; their minds are always racing from thought to thought, worrying, and uneasy about things that would not normally matter to someone. Even the smallest issue or potential hiccup can seem like a huge, insurmountable problem for a person who has anxiety. Anxiety presents differently for many different people. Some of the most common symptoms include:
End the Cycle of Depression, Anxiety & Addiction with Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Substance abuse and addiction can lead to depression and anxiety. Inversely, intense anxiety and depression episodes can lead people to seek relief with drugs and alcohol, resulting in addiction. An individual can end the cycle with a compassionate and evidence-based dual diagnosis treatment program. Treatment from professionals trained and experienced in treating patients with these unique needs can be extremely effective.
The experts at Beachway Therapy Center can help. Our counselors are available to offer guidance and advice.
There is a huge difference between worrying about an upcoming test, feeling anxious about an upcoming event, or being nervous about something like public speaking. Generalized Anxiety Disorder is the term most often used for individuals who suffer from a constant and often irrational state of worry. Not only does the feeling persist for months or even years, but no matter what happens, there seems to be no resolution in sight.
Although a person suffering from GAD may seem to be worrying about one topic, the subject of their anxiety changes and fluctuates until they are always anxious and uneasy about events and people around them. This overwhelming sensation makes it extremely difficult to cope and often results in physical symptoms that make it difficult to live a normal life.
Individuals suffering from PTSD and trauma are often at the highest risk of developing alcohol or substance abuse problems
